ESSEX WEDDING CARS
Gone are the days of simply hiring a big white car for your wedding. Nowadays, people choose from the classic, to the positively whacky - or simply just functional, if you've a lot of people to move in one go.
Some things to think about when looking at wedding transport:
- give some serious thought to how many cars you need. If the distance between your pick-up point and the ceremony is more than about 15 minutes each way, it may not be practical to send the bridesmaids off half an hour beforehand. You may need to consider having a main car an a support car.
- even if you are having your ceremony and reception at the same venue, you may still want transport to get all of the important people there - who wants to drive on their wedding day, after all? In these circumstances, you might consider a private hire shuttle, or something a little classier, like a Hummer.
- make sure that you check that there will be no nasty fuel surcharges as you near the date.
- if you've got a lot of guests to move - perhaps from the service to the reception venue, then you might consider setting up a shuttle service. Typically this is a minibus capable of seating up to 16 passengers at a time, and it will continually ferry people to the reception. Such a service is generally charged by the hour.
