Black Chapel, North End, Essex. From the exterior it looks like something out of a Disney film. Inside it is the most curious little chapel. The building is entirely timber framed, and the west end consists of a priest's house. The earliest part of the building (the chancel tie beam) is C14. The chapel contains the Royal Arms of Queen Anne, dated 1714.
