My visit was on rather a gloomy looking day, but, despite the darkness, the sheer size of the tower is easily discerned. Like nearby Blackmore, the tower sits on ten posts. Three pairs of arched braces connect free standing posts in the N-S direction, whilst from E-W, the posts are spanned by lower and smaller arched braces.
