The stonework of the tower is from the 15th Century, and is 
almost entirely original.

A beautiful church. And, fortunately for me, it was open when 
I visited. This pointed arch may once have been a semi-circular Norman chancel 
arch. Above can be seen the Royal Arms of George III, in their original 
position.

At one time, there was, beneath this tower arch, a gallery for 
singers. The tower arch is supported by half-octagonal responds with moulded 
capitals and bases.

Glass Images

St Peter, Paglesham Church - 


This East window shows St Peter walking on the water. It is a 
memorial to George F. Browning, who died aged 73, June 7th 1878.

This glass in the south chancel wall is in memory of Zachary 
and Alice Pettit. Zachary Pettit was a benefactor towards the 1883 restoration.
