The W wall, clearly showing the arched brickwork where this once joined onto an apsidal chancel. The chancel is marked on the ground. It was demolished once the chapel was put to alternative uses as a barn, sometime in the seventeenth century. Only in the early twentieth century was the building returned to its original use.
