The first time I visited All Saints, it was, to be honest, a bitter disappointment. Scaffolding was over much of the church, and, being such a small building, it consumed all available character instantly.   There was a time when I would have simply replaced this 'work in progress' picture. However, since a request from a charitable body, to use one such picture (of Aveley), I have decided to keep suitable images on the site, and to simply add 'better' ones later on.
