Back to St Mary's Church, Shopland

Image Description

This church consisted of a Norman nave and chancel, with a weatherboarded belfry. The chancel was built early C14. The font from St Mary's can now be found at St Nicholas, Canewdon, whilst the south porch still stands outside St Thomas, Bradwell-on-Sea. Many thanks to Andy Barham for supplying this image.
