The largest collection of Essex church photos
You’ve reached what I believe is the largest free-to-view collection of Essex church images on the Internet. It’s mostly the author’s own photography, with some rare images from other photographers.
The aim is to cover every church of architectural note in Essex. The original criteria (Church of England, 1930s or earlier) soon widened to any Christian church of any period, as long as it’s of real architectural interest. Photos taken between 2002 and 2008 are 460 pixels on the long side; from 2008/9 they’re 800 pixels.
