Dedication Unknown, Mashbury Church – Exterior 1: Mashbury church has been redundant for some years. It sits directly opposite Mashbury Hall. Dedication Unknown, Mashbury Church – Exterior 2: This tudor brick porch was built approx 1500. The roof of both this porch, and the nave are C15. Note the obsured Norman window, and the cross shape, formed from tiles. Dedication Unknown, Mashbury Church – Exterior 3: The S Norman doorway is rather impressive. Next time, though, I shall be sure to take my secateurs along! Dedication Unknown, Mashbury Church – Exterior 4 Dedication Unknown, Mashbury Church – Exterior 5: Described by Pevsner as a 'tiny C19 bell lantern'. The previous bell turret, which housed three bells, was destroyed during C19 by a fire caused by lightning. The wooden framework that supported the previous turret survived intact. Dedication Unknown, Mashbury Church – Exterior 6 Dedication Unknown, Mashbury Church – Exterior 7: One of two Norman windows in the north wall. Dedication Unknown, Mashbury Church – Exterior 8: This N door is rather plain, apart from the C12 ironwork.

Dedication Unknown, Mashbury Church – Interior 1: Unfortunately, despite enquiring at Mashbury Hall, across the way, I was unable to obtain the key to the church. The following shots show the best I could manage through the dusty windows. Dedication Unknown, Mashbury Church – Interior 2 Dedication Unknown, Mashbury Church – Interior 3
