About the church

I would like to thank Kevin, the new owner (2015) of Mucking Church, for allowing me to comprehensively record the church at the beginning of May. === In the year 1849-50, the Ancient Parish Church of Mucking was partially demolished with a view to its reparation, it continued a ruin till 1852 when it was almost wholly rebuilt. In design the Chancel is nearly unique and of large dimensions, considering the size of the Church. === G.
